Cards for Inspiration
When writing the pet-inclusive meditations for ming + ming each week, I draw cards from a variety of decks to inspire the message and imagery. Drawing cards is a great way to speak to our higher-self and to receive guidance on plans and decisions we’ve made.
I not only draw from a Tarot deck , but have mindfulness cards, crystal cards, plant cards and journal-prompt cards from a local artist. There are all kinds of cards to choose from. One deck that I reference online is Patch Tarot.
If you’re new to Tarot cards (like I am) or just want a different perspective to the traditional meanings of the cards, their website and cards are an approachable and enlightened way to start.
We first got into Spirit Science by watching Patch Parables on YouTube. These animated shorts tell stories of old wisdom. Great for kids and adults alike, the Lessons, Parables and toolbox of resources (like the Tarot deck) help to navigate what it means to be spiritual in the modern world.
So while I pull from a Thoth deck for my meditations, I always look up what Patch and the Spirit Science community have to say about the cards. Their interpretation is is a good foundation for guiding and inspiring others.
And if you’d like to experience a reading with a Tarot deck, check out Angel Intentions. Zoe does our forecast each month and is an exceptional resource for Tarot.
