Ahimsa Warrior Workshop #23

Heart Chakra | Denial

Sunday, September 28th at 2:00 pm central, 1:00 pm mountain, 12:00 pm pacific and 3:00 pm eastern (90 minutes)

Denial is a refusal. We can refuse to believe something, we can argue that something is not true, or we can refuse that extra doughnut, denying ourselves of its momentary pleasure.

Denial is also a stage in grief that we must move through in order to get to acceptance.

What role does denial play in our lives?

We’ll talk about this and make some art :)

This is one of our Core Wounds of Humanity series and we’ll be activating and working with our Heart Chakra. The colors associated with the Heart are shades of green, turquoise, pink, metallics and white.

Bring a medium of your choice (like some clay, markers, pencils or textiles) and a journal and pen.

$10 Suggested Donation

Ahimsa means nonviolence. A Warrior is someone who survives. An Ahimsa Warrior is one who can do this nonviolently. Dealing with trauma is challenging, and recovering is a battle we face again and again.

This workshop is intended for those who work for peace within themselves, knowing that it ripples outward to create peace in the world. It is designed to teach us how to channel the energy of our past into artwork that heals.
