Ahimsa Warrior Workshop #20

Root Chakra | Acceptance

Sunday, May 18th at 2:00 pm central, 1:00 pm mountain, 12:00 pm pacific and 3:00 pm eastern (90 minutes)

Acceptance can be really challenging… and the person we are least likely to accept is ourselves. It can also feel so important to be accepted by others.

Seeing the reality of a person, situation or ourselves and moving forward without trying to change anything can be liberating but can also mean an ending.

Acceptance may be the first step in making meaningful adjustments to our lives. We’ll define what Acceptance really means and make some artwork :)

We’ll be working with our Root Chakra, so bring with you red hues to start with and a medium of your choice (e.g. chalk, markers, paint, crochet, stitchery, pencils). Also have your journal or a paper and something to write with.

$10 Suggested Donation

Ahimsa means nonviolence. A Warrior is someone who survives. An Ahimsa Warrior is one who can do this nonviolently. Dealing with trauma is challenging, and recovering is a battle we face again and again.

This workshop is intended for those who work for peace within themselves, knowing that it ripples outward to create peace in the world. It is designed to teach us how to channel the energy of our past into artwork that heals.
