Many times during war, forces attack things that are sacred to their enemies. Artwork, public meeting places, spaces for worship, and the people of the land. This is done to dishearten them and take away their sense of culture.

When we develop respect for the sacred, peace may be more achievable in our world.

During this next workshop in our ‘Anti-War’ series, we’ll discuss sacredness and work with our Sacral Chakra, the space in ourselves for passion, family and identity.

And we too have things that are sacred to us — our daily rituals, our people and pets… our bodies that are the vessels for our souls.

What are the things in your life that are Sacred?

The Sacral Chakra is joyously activated by colors like orange, light red, skin tones and metallic colors like copper and iron.

Bring a medium of your choice and perhaps a journal or something to write with.
