ming + ming

ming+ming was born from our personal struggles and the path we found through them. In the beginning we felt lost, discouraged, and hesitant to buy something that had no guarantee of even working. We’ve battled with depression, anxiety, denial, self-doubt, and a debilitating fear of the unknown, but now we know it’s all for a bigger purpose.

In the process, Ming-Wai became a certified yoga teacher, meditation coach, and energy worker using tarot, crystals, and Reiki. Ming-Cee joined her sister as both a business partner and a life coach. It’s been a long, winding road and the struggles are still real but after years of inner work, and trying a multitude of tools for personal growth, we're bringing you the process that actually works: the 11 steps to change your life.

when is enough, enough?

This quote really hit home for us.

It got us talking about how many times we've pushed ourselves over the edge... physically, mentally, emotionally... driven by our own expectations, our egos, our desire to please other people. It's uncomfortable to pause and assess our situation with clarity because, quite honestly, we know we're not going to like what we see and we'd rather just push through and deal with the consequences later.

Of course, money is not always the sole motivator. Any parent knows how much we sacrifice for our children. Or maybe you're a caregiver to a spouse, parent or family member. Or what we do for our friends, neighbors, pets, charitable organization... the list can go on and on.

What we discovered in our own journeys is the way we were living was not sustainable... physically, mentally, or emotionally.

We have pushed ourselves to achieve our goals. We have pushed through the discomfort because it was slowing us down. We only checked in with our bodies when it was convenient or when we couldn't ignore it any longer. And then we expected a quick fix so we could move on to the next achievement.

Does this sound familiar?

If so, you are not alone. And if you're ready to invest in yourself to find more balance and less anxiety, you're in the right place. The ming + ming community is here to support each other as we break the self-depleting habits that drain our energy and build the self-supporting habits that fill our lives with gratitude and positivity.
